Nominations are now open for the 2026 Kent Women in Business Awards that takes place on Friday 6th March 2026 at The Ashford International Hotel. The awards are open to female business owners or employed individuals on a career path based in the county of Kent.
This is NOT a voted for competition. Winners are chosen based on merit, (by completing an entry form) which are then judged by an independent panel of judges. Nominations close on Friday 2nd January 2026. You can nominate as many people as you like, and you are allowed to nominate yourself. If you have any questions, please email sue@businesslegacy.co.uk.
The deadline for entry forms to be submitted is 5pm on 16th January 2026
Categories – A maximum of four categories can be entered and are chosen by the nominee when completing the entry form. If you won a category in 2025, you cannot enter the same category again in 2026 only. If you were Runner-Up or finalist, you can enter the same category as 2025.
Entry Process
- Upon receiving a nomination for you, our admin team will be in touch to see if you’re happy to accept your nomination. Once we’ve received your confirmation, we will email you the entry for package. If you have self-nominated, we will automatically email you the entry form package.
- The entry from package includes a Draft Entry Form, Additional Information Form and the Rules if entering as a Partnership or a Multiple Business Owner.
- The entry form is an online Google form. We strongly recommend using the DRAFT ENTRY FORM which is a word document to plan your answers first, as you can save this as you go. We would hate you to lose your work. When you are ready to submit your form and happy with all your answers, copy and paste them into the online form. You have until Friday 16th January to submit your form.
- Complete the ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FORM. This is a maximum of four pages in one document and can be submitted as a word document or a PDF. At the end of the entry form you can upload this form before submitting. This form is for you to enhance your entry form. This might include photos, client testimonials, newspaper/magazine articles, or anything that tells the judges a bit more about you and your business. We cannot accept individual images or testimonials; they must all be included in this one document.
- All entry forms are considered by a shortlist panel for finalist positions, and these will be announced on 23rd January 2026.
- Tickets will open for the awards on Friday 6th March 2026 where the results will be announced.
